For Samsung Phones, open settings, go to Mobile Networks, Choose Network Mode Sim 1 and select LTE/3G/2G (auto connect). On your Xiaomi Phones, open settings, go to SIM Cards and mobile networks, choose SIM 1 under SIM CARD SETTINGS OPTION. Locate preferred network type and select Prefer LTE. If you have an Oppo Phone, then open Settings, go to dual SIM and mobile data, select preferred network type and choose 4G/ 3G/ 2G (auto).
Step 3: Route Data through your Jio SIM. For Samsung Phones, open settings, open SIM Card Manager, select mobile data and select SIM 1 option. While, for Xiaomi Phones, go to settings, SIM Cards and Mobile networks, choose internet and then select SIM 1. If you have an Oppo Phone, open settings, click on Dual SIM and Mobile Data, choose Internet and select SIM 1.
Step 4: Enable Data Roaming. For Samsung Phones, go to settings, mobile networks and touch the slider next to Data Roaming to turn it on. For Xiamoi Phones, open settings, go to SIM Cards and Mobile Networks and tap on Data Roaming, and now select Always. For Oppo Phones, open settings and go to Duan SIM and Mobile Data and turn the slider on of the option – Data Roaming. In case you’re facing any problems in connecting to the internet, even though you have data balance and above settings aren’t working.
Just try resetting the APN settings. In order to reset APN on a Samsung Phone, Open settings, go to mobile networks and select access point names, and choose SIM 1. Tap more and select reset to Default. Finally hit Reset to confirm this on the Popup message. For Xiaomi Phones, open settings, go to SIM card and mobile networks, select SIM 1, go to access point names and tap reset to default.
For Oppo phones, open settings, select Dual SIM and mobile data, then SIM 1, access point names and tap Reset to Default on the bottom of the screen. As a final step, always make sure to restart your phone after performing this step. And, you should be able to use the Jio Services Seamlessly.
